YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy policy
Effective November 7, 2026 · Applies to Material Drop (com.materialdrop.game) and this website
Material Drop is a free, single-player puzzle game developed by FiM. You do not need an account to play. The game includes advertising provided by Google AdMob.
Who is responsible
FiM operates Material Drop and this website. For privacy questions, requests or concerns, contact geon.fim@gmail.com. A parent or guardian may contact us on a child’s behalf.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your best score, sound preference and whether the introductory age screen has been completed using local device storage. We do not operate an online leaderboard, game account or cloud-save service. Your puzzle score and pieces are not sent to a FiM game server. Removing the app’s data removes these local settings and scores.
Age screen and children
Material Drop is intended for children and older players. Before advertising starts, an introductory screen asks for a year of birth. That entry is processed temporarily on the device; the birth year and exact age are not retained or transmitted by FiM. Only completion of the screen is saved. The advertising integration applies child-directed treatment, a general-audience ad content limit and under-age-of-consent treatment to every player, including unknown-age and adult players. We do not use this screen to unlock personalized advertising.
We do not knowingly ask children for a name, email, phone number, precise location, photos or voice recordings in the game. There is no chat, user posting, in-app account creation or social profile. Parents may ask us about information practices or contact us about an unintended disclosure. Children should ask a parent or guardian before sending a support email.
Advertising and information processed by Google
The game uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ads may not be available in all regions or at all times. Banner ads are separated from gameplay controls. An optional rewarded ad may offer a one-time revival by clearing a chosen color. Declining an ad does not prevent starting a new game.
Google’s SDK documentation describes processing IP addresses (which can be used to estimate general location), app interactions such as ad views and taps, diagnostic and performance information, and device or other identifiers as applicable to the SDK and its settings. These data may be collected and shared with Google and advertising service providers for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, security and service operation. Network requests are encrypted in transit. The app does not request microphone, camera, precise-location or phone-state access. Its Android build excludes advertising-ID and Android ad-services permissions; this does not mean that the SDK processes no information.
We request child-directed, age-appropriate advertising and do not request interest-based advertising or remarketing. We do not sell personal information or use a FiM advertising profile. Google is a separate service provider with its own processing and retention practices. Read Google’s Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from apps and the Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.
Privacy choices
Where required and supported by Google’s consent platform, the game provides an advertising privacy-options control on the home screen. Advertising requests wait for the SDK’s applicable privacy checks. Child-directed and under-age settings remain in place regardless of other choices. You can play offline without network ads. You can clear the app’s local storage or uninstall it; doing so also removes local scores.
This website and support emails
This site is hosted by Vercel. Hosting infrastructure processes ordinary request information such as IP address, browser information and requested URL to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising scripts, analytics trackers, accounts, contact forms or nonessential cookies to these pages. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy. Clicking external links is subject to the destination’s policies.
If you email support, we receive the email address and information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request, investigate problems and meet legal obligations. Please do not send passwords, payment details or a child’s personal information. Include diagnostic information only when you choose to share it.
Retention, transfers and requests
Local game data remain on your device until cleared. FiM retains support correspondence only as needed to handle the request and related obligations; deletion can be requested by email. Advertising data and hosting logs are managed under Google’s and Vercel’s policies and may be processed in countries outside your own. FiM cannot retrieve advertising-provider data using your local score. To exercise applicable access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection rights, contact us; for data held independently by Google, use Google’s privacy controls. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
Security and updates
We limit the information requested by the game and use HTTPS for these pages. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. We will update this policy when practices change and revise the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the app or its store listing as appropriate.
